The Bridgehampton Museum is happy to welcome Ricky Bottenus to guide guests in the art of blacksmithing.

Join us for a chance to swing a hammer and forge hot steel into your very own bottle opener! Drinks and pizza will be provided. Space is limited to 6 participants so buy your tickets today! This event is limited to guests 21 and older.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

All guests will be required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival. Refusal to sign the liability waiver will result in you not being able to participate in the event.

All guests will also need to:

  • wear closed toe shoes

  • wear comfortable work clothing - you will need to bend, twist, stand for extended periods and you will get dirty

  • preferably come wearing a long sleeve garment or have one to take on and off

  • bring hair ties if you have long hair - you will be bending and looking down so it is best to keep hair out of your face

BHM will provide guests with safety glasses, ear plugs and fire retardant gloves.

If you have any questions please email our Executive Director Connor Flanagan at connor@bhmuseum.org.
