About the event

Join us at the museum this fall to learn about the history of our local Native American tribes through historical photographs and contemporary paintings. The paintings will show ancient cultural phases of Native history on Long Island, aspects of the history of Native whaling, and more contemporary illustrations of traditional arts and crafts. David Bunn Martine is a member of the Shinnecock and Montauk Nations and a descendent of the Chiricahua-Fort Sill Apache Tribe.

There is no admission fee for this event, but any donations made will be given to the Boys & Girls Club of Shinnecock Nation.
