Internship

Join us as an intern this summer to get first hand experience working in a local history museum to see if this is the right career path for you! We are currently only looking for one intern at the moment for a grant funded paid position.

Prospective interns must:

• be between the ages of 15 and 22 years old

• work a minimum of 100 hours

• have their own reliable mode of transportation

Thanks to the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation and The Gardiner Young Scholars grant program the selected intern will be paid $1,600 for their time!

​

An intern should expect to work directly with museum collections and assist museum staff in the upkeep of current exhibitions, research and archiving of museum collections and working the front desk to greet museum guests. Interns should be comfortable talking with the public and have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
