Internship/Volunteering

Are you an avid history lover and looking for a place to spend some time doing what you love? Join us here at the Bridgehampton Museum as an intern or volunteer and make a contribution to preserving local history with the donation of your time!

 

Prospective interns/volunteers should send a resume and cover letter to our Executive Director Connor Flanagan via email - connor@bhmuseum.org. Please include what parts of working in a museum you would like to gain experience in and if you have any prior museum or other non-profit experience.

We unfortunately do not always have funding available for our interns but are always looking for grants to make payment a possibility. We can also always offer volunteer hours as we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit which may be beneficial. If you are a college student we also recommend you talk to  your guidance councilors right away if you are considering an internship! Often times you can get credit hours for completing a certain number of hours at an internship.
